Controller

The controller for personal data processed on this website is:

Eisbach Systems GmbH
Lichtenbergstraße 8
85748 Garching
Germany

E-mail: hello@eisbachsystems.com

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the statutory conditions requiring one do not apply to us.

In short

This site uses no tracking or analytics and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and video are served from our own server, so no connection is made to outside providers such as Google Fonts. Personal data arises in only two places: the server log files created when you load a page, and whatever you choose to send us through the enquiry form.

Visiting the site (server log files)

On each request your browser transmits technical information that our web server records:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of the request
  • the address requested and the volume of data transferred
  • HTTP status code
  • the referring page, where transmitted
  • browser and operating system identifiers

We need this to deliver the site, detect faults and defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. The data is not combined with other sources or evaluated for advertising.

Log files are rotated daily and an individual entry is deleted automatically no later than fourteen days after it was written. Entries are kept longer only where a specific incident — an attempted attack, for instance — requires it, and then only until the matter is resolved.

Quote requests and drawing uploads

The form on this site lets you send us an enquiry and, optionally, a file. We process what you enter: name, company, e-mail address, telephone number, your message, the chosen language and any uploaded file (drawing, bill of materials or CAD file, up to 10 MB).

We use this solely to handle your enquiry, prepare a quote and resolve follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, as the processing serves steps prior to a contract; where you enquire on behalf of a third party we additionally rely on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

The data is stored on our server in Germany, and a notification is sent to our mailbox. We do not pass design documents to third parties. If an enquiry can only be fulfilled with a subcontractor, we obtain your consent first.

Deletion: we delete enquiries and their attachments once they have been dealt with, and in any case no later than six months after receipt. Where a contract results, we retain the documents for the statutory commercial and tax periods (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO) and restrict them from further use.

Contacting us by e-mail

If you write to us directly, we process your message and the details it contains in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR for contract-related matters, otherwise Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

Hosting and e-mail delivery

We run the website and our mailbox on infrastructure provided by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin. Strato processes the resulting data only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany and no transfer to third countries takes place.

Storage in your browser

This site sets no cookies. The only thing stored is your language choice, under the key ex-lang in your browser's local storage, so the site opens in the language you chose. That entry is technically necessary within the meaning of § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, contains no personal data and never reaches us. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings.

Encryption

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, so form entries and uploads are encrypted in transit.

Recipients and transfers abroad

Apart from the hosting and e-mail provider named above, we do not share personal data. No transfer takes place to countries outside the EU or EEA. We carry out no advertising or profiling, and no automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

Your rights

You have the following rights in respect of your personal data:

  • access to the data stored (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing based on a legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)

A message to hello@eisbachsystems.com is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The one competent for us is:
